According to Futa's ranking list of the strongest students of Namimori High (Hibari's school before he got transferred into the Academy), Hibari is the number one strongest student in his school, a fierce and well trained fighter who has an almost insatiable bloodlust for a worthy opponent. As his main weapon, he uses a pair of tonfa. Hibari's tonfa have also been shown to have hidden compartments containing other weapons. He has a box weapon which contains another pair of tonfa which emit Dying Will Flames (due to his power, it's a Cloud-attribute flames which has the characteristic of propagation).

Hibari is also capable of emitting a massive Dying Will flame with the Vongola Ring, this was said to emerge when Hibari was feeling angry with others for disrupting him. It is revealed that Dino taught him how to emit the flames. Hibari has been shown to have more knowledge than most concerning the boxes and uses them at a high proficiency.

* Hedgehog (summoned from the Box Weapon) - When used, a hedgehog is shot towards the target. Due to the Cloud's ability, propagation, the hedgehog can become bigger when it takes in Dying Will Flames from Hibari.

* Needle Sphere Form (the hedgehog's power combined with Hibari's Cloud-flame) - His hedgehog forms a huge sphere that grows larger, attacking everything within a certain radius.

* Needle Sphere Form, Reversed (the reverse form from 'Needle Sphere Form') - He creates a big airtight space with a limited air supply where only people are allowed inside, it is used to bring about a physical fight.


(* Dying Will Flame is a flame that shows how strong the dying will of a person using it.

Personality:
Hibari is a member of the Disciplinary Committee of Prefects and his catchphrase is "I'll bite you to death" (kamikorosu), which he says to everyone who he is ready to fight. Hibari is very proud of his school, and is apparently the only person who likes their school's anthem, even using it as his ring tone. Hibari owes a bird (subsequently nicknamed "Hibird" due to its connection to Hibari) and the bird becomes attached to Hibari since Hibari defeated the previous owner. Hibari has a soft spot for animals such as Hibird but there have been times. Hibari also has the tendency to say "Wao," (like "wow" in English) whenever he's impressed or being sarcastic.


History:
Hibari's a third year student in Namimori High School, but then received a scholarship to attend the Cross Academy from a friend of his parents. Bored with the usual activities, Hibari agrees with the offer and choose to attend the Cross Academy, continuing his study there.

Of course, Hibari's unaware (or not giving a damn if he actually aware) about the truth about the Cross Academy, about the Academy is filled with supernatural beings. All that's inside his mind is to find worthy opponents and beat them down. Therefore, even though he's aware that the Cross Academy is filled with supernatural beings, Hibari will hardly be afraid. That'd only make him more interested to beat all of them down.

Unlike when he's in Namimori High School, in the Cross Academy Hibari's only a member of the Disciplinary Committee in the Cross Academy. Still violent and calm, Hibari's going to start his role as the new prefect in the Cross Academy~


Roleplay Sample:
Hibari walks around the hall of the Academy, holding his tonfas tight on his hands. Patrolling around the Academy to make sure there's no fusses is Hibari's job as the leader of the Disciplinary Committee. Looking around with his cold eyes, Hibari sighs quietly.. he finds nothing interesting. Going to the building's roof, he sits on the floor before leaning back and support his body with both hands.

Looking up at the sky, Hibari sighs. It's boring~ just then, a small skylark flies down from the sky and lands on Hibari's shoulder. Glancing at the bird for a moment, Hibari only remains silent before averting his eyes back to the sky.
